The short version

Peptra is a personal tracking and reference tool. You are responsible for how you use it. It does not give medical advice, does not tell you what to take or how much, and does not sell or supply anything. Use it with a qualified clinician, not instead of one.

Accepting these terms

By downloading or using Peptra, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you use Peptra on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for them.

Who may use Peptra

Peptra is intended for adults 18 or older. It is not directed at children and must not be used by anyone under 18.

What Peptra is — and is not

Peptra records the compounds, doses, vials, measurements, and side effects you enter, and shows reference information including each compound's regulatory status.
Peptra does not prescribe, recommend, diagnose, or suggest a dose. Its reconstitution feature performs arithmetic on numbers you enter; it does not tell you what to take.
Peptra does not sell, source, supply, or link to any supplier of any compound.
Peptra is not a medical device, a pharmacy, a healthcare provider, or a substitute for professional medical care.

Not medical advice

Nothing in Peptra is medical advice. Many compounds in its reference are not approved for human use, and Peptra labels each one's regulatory status so you can see exactly where it stands. Always talk to a qualified clinician about what is appropriate for you. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make and any actions you take.

Your responsibility for accuracy

Peptra's outputs are only as accurate as the information you enter. You are responsible for verifying any figure — including any calculated volume or concentration — against your clinician's guidance and the product's labeling before relying on it. Do not use Peptra as your only check on anything that affects your health.

Your data

Peptra stores your data locally on your device. It has no account and no server. How Peptra handles data is described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your own backups; deleting the app deletes its local data.

Purchases and subscriptions

Peptra may offer optional paid features ("Premium") through the Apple App Store or Google Play. If you buy a subscription:

Payment is charged to your app-store account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your app-store account settings.
Any free trial's unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription, where applicable.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not by Peptra directly.
A one-time "lifetime" purchase, if offered, grants access for the lifetime of the app and is not a recurring charge.

Prices and the specific features included in Premium may change; changes do not affect a purchase already made for its current term.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Peptra: do not reverse-engineer it for a competing product, attempt to break its security, use it unlawfully, or rely on it to make medical decisions without a clinician. Peptra is for personal, non-commercial use.

Intellectual property

Peptra, its name, design, and content are owned by TapRoot Systems, Inc. You get a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app. The data you enter is yours.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Peptra is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. TapRoot Systems, Inc. is not liable for any harm, loss, or damages arising from your use of the app or from any decision you make based on it. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the "last updated" date above changes with them. Continuing to use Peptra after a change means you accept the updated terms.
