Privacy policy

The short version
Peptra does not collect your data. There is no account, no server, and nothing is
uploaded. Everything you log stays on your device until you choose to move it.
What Peptra stores, and where
Peptra keeps the following on your device only:
- Compounds you track, and the schedules you set
- Doses you log, including time, amount, injection site, and any notes
- Vials you record, including strength, reconstitution details, batch, and source
- Weight and other measurements you enter
- Side effects you record
- Your app settings, such as which mode you chose
This is stored in a local database on the device itself. It is not transmitted to us,
because there is no "us" to transmit it to — Peptra has no backend server, and the
developer cannot see your data.
What Peptra does not do
- No account, sign-in, or email address is required or requested.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party SDKs that profile you.
- No selling or sharing of personal information, because none is collected.
- No sourcing, selling, or supplying of any compound.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Peptra schedules dose reminders locally on your device.
No push service is used and no reminder content leaves the device.
When data leaves your device — only when you send it
Peptra can produce files at your request:
- A doctor-ready export (PDF or CSV) of your dose history, side effects, and
measurements.
- A backup file (JSON) containing your data so you can move it to another device or
keep a copy.
These are generated on your device and handed to the share sheet or saved where you
choose. Once you send a file somewhere — email, cloud storage, a messaging app — that
destination's own privacy terms apply, not this one. Peptra has no visibility into where
it goes.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual doses, stop tracking a protocol, or restore over your data from
Settings. Deleting the app removes its local database and everything in it. Because
nothing is stored on a server, there is nothing to request deletion of and no account to
close.
Health data
Peptra does not read from or write to Apple Health or Google Fit, and does not request
access to them.
Children
Peptra is not directed at children and should not be used by anyone under 18.
Not medical advice
Peptra is a personal tracking and reference tool. It does not prescribe, recommend, or
supply anything, and it is not a substitute for a qualified clinician. Many compounds in
its catalog are not approved for human use; Peptra labels each one's regulatory status so
you can see exactly where it stands.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it. Because Peptra
collects nothing, changes are expected to be rare.
